My philosophy

It's all about getting natural, relaxed photos. Right?

Nothing cheesy, nothing tacky and nothing that will look dated in two years time. Just gorgeous photos of your family to last a lifetime.

That's easier said than done. Which is why it helps that I've done this for years, won a few awards on the way and don't mind rolling around in the dirt while the dog sits on my back to get a smile.

My job is to make the task of getting beautiful photos fun and easy. I can come to your home or local park - or you can come to the London studio - and the sessions are very laid back. If you want to change dates or the weather is bad then I'm flexible, if you want a particular frame to fit in the space above the kitchen table I can arrange that too. I know you are busy so I am totally flexible - all you have to do it send me an email....

I'm not the cheapest in town. But that's because I offer a completely bespoke service with a super high quality product. And there's no hard sell. I work with an in-house photoshop expert so if you're a new mum and a bit self-conscious then I can give a little help in the computer if you want (not that you need it of course).

How the shoot works

Shoots can be either in the home, at a local park or in the studio which is in Shoreditch, not far from Clerkenwell, East London.

Home or park shoots are varied and personal, but dependent on weather and light. Shoots in the studio give you perfect lighting and no weather but the background is fixed. To see the studio click the link at the bottom of the page or just have a look at the portfolios to decide which style you prefer.

You can also hire me for the whole day (see the 'Grand Day Out' option under the 'Prices & Products' tab at the top or click here) and I can come with you for a trip to a favourite spot - the zoo, a country house, the fair ground, anything.

For more information about how the shoots work please download a PDF at the bottom of the page. It should answer most questions.

Viewing your pictures

About three weeks after the shoot your pictures will be ready to view on a large screen at the studio where you can have a ceremonial cup of tea or glass of wine. You will see 100 images from your shoot, all of which have been carefully selected and edited. Viewings normally happen after work.

You can then order prints, frames, albums, collages or cards. I can even arrange to come to your home to measure up the spaces on your walls.
